The GlaxoSmithKline Residential Chemistry Training Experience 2013 – fully funded week-long training course

This is a fully-funded, week-long training course (15 – 20 September 2013) designed to give you practical experience of the work of a graduate chemist in the pharmaceutical industry.  Based in the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) research laboratories we will provide you with personalised laboratory tuition together with coaching in interview technique, presentation skills and working in teams.

You should be an analytical/computational/synthetic chemistry undergraduate, who will enter the final year of study in Sept/Oct 2013. Applications are particularly invited from:

  • ethnic minority undergraduates
  • mature students
  • those who have taken a career break and wish to return to a career in chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry 

This programme will be held at the GlaxoSmithKline Medicines Research Centre, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, on 9 -14 September 2012.
