Enterprise in the Third Sector – Derwent College

The latest event in Derwent College’s student development seminars takes place on Thursday 16 May in Derwent SCR at 6.30 – 8.30pm.

Three professionals, who have founded charities or social enterprises, will talk about their experiences and motivations.

The speakers are:

  • Daniel Marshall, a former University of York teaching fellow and co-founder of Spark Inside (a social enterprise mentoring youth offenders)
  • Fawzia Mir, director of the Pay & Employment Rights Service, founder member of the Leeds Gypsy and Traveller Exchange and the Leeds BME network
  • Kev Curran, filmmaker and co-founder of Inspired Youth (a not-for-profit enterprise, using media,arts and film to engage communities on social issues).
