Another great summer for the Student Internship Bureau
This year the Student Internship Bureau brokered 120 summer internships in and around York, all exclusively for U of Y students.
The programme saw interns take part in a variety of different projects, from packaging decellularised biological tissue to project managing the construction of a model railway. One intern taught Italian to a wine merchant, while another wrote market research reports on exporting goods to China.

Careers-SIB_310715_097James, a Network Rail Intern, said “I found my internship to be an incredible opportunity to both showcase and develop my soft skills. It was also a great insight into the world of work.”
The Student Internship Bureau advertises part and full-time projects throughout the year.
